Like many of you know, my hubby, the greatest man EVER! Got me tickets to see Reba McEntire in concert, LIVE!! I was so excited and was jumping out of my skin I couldn't wait to go!
We went a little early and we were going to go to a park and ride, but the bus didn't come until 5 pm, so we decided to just to the Rodeo and pay for parking down there. We walked around for a while which was fun, but let's face it, walking around the rodeo is way more fun when you want to shop, and my hubby is NOT a shopper, LOL.
The concert we thought started at 6:45 but that was when the rodeo started which was a blast to watch! I really liked watching all the different events! My favorites were the calf scramble, which is where the kids that benefit from the prophets made at the rodeo all get in a line and then start to race around to try and catch the calves and bring them into the boundaries. It was really funny and cute! There was one girl that was smaller then me who caught her calf by it's tail and the calf dragged her across part of the arena, it was great!
Another of my favorite events was the Mutton Busting. That's where they have little girls and boys lay down on top of the sheep and ride across to see who can hold on the longest. The little girl that won was about 6 years old and she held on for about 20 seconds. She had blonde curly hair and she was so cute. She said she liked to practice in the living room on her daddy. It was hilarious!! (=
They had a lot of fun things to watch, and I wish I could post some of the videos that I took, but I don't know about the copyright rules and all. Also the pictures of the events aren't that great because I took them with my phone because I wanted to to save my camera battery for the concert!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! We had a great St. Patty's day here on the ranch.
We started out with playing with the girls, then we rearranged their rooms cause I re-did the dressers, you can see the dressers here on my craft blog!
After that we went outside and had a blast. We played with out goats and visited the cows, and went for a walk. It was a great day and I hate that the weekend is almost over, I wish we could have about 200 more days like today!

In case you couldn't tell my girls are very much into acting their age! They are so tiring, so exhausting, so infuriating that I want to scream!
But truthfully, more often then not, it's screams of laughter and joy!
Yesterday morning Rae woke me up to tell me that Bea had was eating a kit-kat from the fridge. Little did I know that Rae had waited until after they had ate almost all of the kit-kat's before she told me.
Well of course I didn't find out that they had eaten 4 of them until after they were in bed and asleep for the night!
Well this morning I woke up to find them hidden in the pantry again eating fudge bars! It's been a rough morning. I had a rough night and couldn't sleep very well and so today it was really hard for me to not loose it on the girls.
This is my solution!
Most of my plans for the day have been changed because I have no desire to take them to run my errands because of how crazy they have been!
I guess I need to suck it up ad take them with me. The joys' of parenting, It's not easy and it's not always fun, but man it's entertaining!
There's this quote that really hit me, and I really do love it: it says,"If your kids aren't driving you nuts, then you aren't spending enough time with them."
Is that not completely true or what?
Today my children, have eaten fudge bars without permission, refused to clean their room, got he bathroom counter soaking wet, the floor soaking wet, their stuffed animals soaking wet, and colored on the wall. It's only noon and I am ready for Ki to come home and for bed time. I'd say I spend plenty of time with my beautiful girls!
That's right, you read it correctly. We have added yet another animal to our ranch! This time it was my idea. I have been wanting goats since about Halloween time.
Every year I try and take my girls to a pumpkin patch, and the one we went to this year, was really expensive and totally LAME! But they had a really cute little petting zoo. At the petting zoo they had the cutest little animals, but the ones we loved the most were the goats. Here is the link to the post with some pictures of us and the goats.
Anyway, so since then the girls and I have been asking for goats, but everyone kept saying no because goats are known for eating EVERYTHING! Well that rumor has been proven true. We tried keeping them inside for about a week because the ones that we got were only about a week and half old. It's amazing how young they can be separated from their mommies. But being they were so young, they need to be bottle fed about every 3-4 hours, luckily it was only during the day and not at night.
We got 4 goats total. The two Mama goats:
The one on the left is named Yuki and the other is Desert Rose and we call her Rosie. They were named before we got them. Yuki was pregnant in this picture and very un-happy with life. She was ready to pop any day. Rosie is supposed to be pregnant but it's too early to tell for sure. The gestational period of a goat is only 5-6 months. Lucky, right?!
Anyway, they obviously are adult goats so we were able to just stick them in the grass area that was fenced off for the dogs originally. Of course goats are also really well known for being escape artists and they sure figured it out quickly! But luckily they realized that staying put was better for them.
Their first day on G-Ranch
They were very sad when the girls had to go to bed. They stayed there for a good couple of hours waiting for the girls to come out...
This one is Rae's, she named him Romeo
This one is Bea's, she named him Tulio
They know who they belong too!
And the girls love it!
The love to climb and jump on things!
Here are a few videos of the goats and the girls playing. They are so cute!
After having the goats for about 2 weeks we had baby goats! It was so cool to see. I won't gross you all out with the videos, but here are some pictures. Since the Mommy has a Japanese name, Lizzi thought it fitting to have her babies named Japanese as well. Not to mention, Lizzi is obsessed with the Japanese!
We had Ichigo, Mo-Mo and Cherry Blossom. Poor Cherry Blossom was weak and didn't make it, but not without a fight. Lizzi stayed up all night with that sweet little baby. )=
this is Ichigo. I call her Ichigo-go.
The darker one is Mo-Mo.
The white one was Cherry Blossom
Here are a few other pictures of my silly girls and their silly goats...
No, not a goat, but a silly girl and a silly puppy
They like to chase the girls ALL OVER the property!
They stopped for a brake.
Always striking a great pose!
Always waiting for me to put the camera down so she can run away! LOL
All 4 of them tried SO HARD to climb that tree! It was just too funny!!
I told you they like to climb! Think the goats will miss Nali as much as the girls will.
Well that seems to be all for now. We seem to have a new adventure everyday. Like tomorrow, we are going to hang up chicken wire for the baby goats. Our boys need to realize they are goats, LOL. So we are going to put them in with the other goats.
Hope you are all doing great!
Love you all. (=
