Reba in concert, LIVE!!!

Like many of you know, my hubby, the greatest man EVER! Got me tickets to see Reba McEntire in concert, LIVE!! I was so excited and was jumping out of my skin I couldn't wait to go! 

We went a little early and we were going to go to a park and ride, but the bus didn't come until 5 pm, so we decided to just to the Rodeo and pay for parking down there. We walked around for a while which was fun, but let's face it, walking around the rodeo is way more fun when you want to shop, and my hubby is NOT a shopper, LOL. 

The concert we thought started at 6:45 but that was when the rodeo started which was a blast to watch! I really liked watching all the different events! My favorites were the calf scramble, which is where the kids that benefit from the prophets made at the rodeo all get in a line and then start to race around to try and catch the calves and bring them into the boundaries. It was really funny and cute! There was one girl that was smaller then me who caught her calf by it's tail and the calf dragged her across part of the arena, it was great!

Another of my favorite events was the Mutton Busting. That's where they have little girls and boys lay down on top of the sheep and ride across to see who can hold on the longest. The little girl that won was about 6 years old and she held on for about 20 seconds. She had blonde curly hair and she was so cute. She said she liked to practice in the living room on her daddy. It was hilarious!! (=

They had a lot of fun things to watch, and I wish  I could post some of the videos that I took, but I don't know about the copyright rules and all. Also the pictures of the events aren't that great because I took them with my phone because I wanted to to save my camera battery for the concert!

It was a great experience and a great memory to have! I will never forget it and I am so glad that I was able to share it with Ki. I don't know how to re-pay him for this but I really hope that some day I can! (=
