Road Trip 2012

We spent about 80 hours in the car traveling from Texas, to Albuquerque, to Zions Utah, To SLC Utah,  to Rexberg Idaho, to Spokane Washington, back down to SLC Utah, and then Back to Albuquerque, then home to Texas again. We drove around 5,000 miles! It was crazy it was long, it was exhausting, and it was a blast!
I am so grateful for my beautiful daughters and the amazing attitudes they have in the car.
The reason it was so long was we had to take My sister in law to College and then my mother in law to Washington for her job and then back to Utah for our Brother's wedding.

This post is going to be mainly pictures since there are so many, but here they are.

Not entirely sure how it happened, but the pictures loaded backwards.
Basically we got to bring back Lily back to Texas with us, then Ginger, Chris and James came for a visit. Then Chris and Lily went home and Ginger and James stayed for a little while. It was a lot of fun to have those cute little reds on the ranch. So here are the pictures from that:

This is grandma's birthday cake that I made her. She loved having  the twins here for her birthday.
It was very special for her.

That was our crazy 2 week road trip and an extra week of vacation with family on the ranch. It was worth the miles, time and travel. We loved every minute of it and although we aren't ready for another trip, we are ready to do it again if need be.
Come this August the girls and I will be flying to Utah for my nieces Wedding. I am excited and can't wait for another vacation, gotta love summer! (=
