Every year on Christmas eve we get to open one present. But it's not just any present, it's specific one. It is the one we get from the Christmas Eve Elf.
The Christmas Eve Elf, is a wonderful tradition that Mom and Dad started the first Christmas eve they had Willy, 30 years ago! It's pajamas that the Elf makes, but we can't tell you who the Elf is, it's a secret! (=
They have been doing it every year, and I love that my girls get to enjoy the tradition that their Daddy was raised with.
Here are some pictures I was able to snatch of the family with their pajamas from the Christmas Eve Elf. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of everyone....
Because the Grawe family is so big, (8 kids. 5 with spouses, significant others, or fiance's, and 5.5 grand kids) A couple years ago the kids decided to start drawing names among themselves, because that is a lot of people to be buying presents for! We also include the little kids.
These are the pictures I was able to grab but everything seemed to go so fast that evening. We do these after the Elf presents on Christmas Eve.

After the fire and fire works, we came inside and watched some movies and played games until mid-night!

So that was the end of our year. We had a great time and it was a blast!
We had so many new adventures this year and some great new challenges to face this new year as well.
